An ex-NYPD police officer accused of murdering a Brooklyn jogger was seen being out of the 62nd Precinct police station in handcuffs on Saturday.
Sayed Mohassib has been charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing Oct. 30 death of Katie Suarez at the Shore Parkway Greenway.
He is also charged with physical evidence and criminal possession of a weapon.
Mohassib, who wore a red Van Dutch jacket, black top and jeans, showed little emotion as he was escorted by police.
He told police that he woke up covered in blood with no memory of the attack, adding that he threw the knife in the garbage, according to the New York Post.
Suarez, 28, was running along a waterfront path around 8 p.m. when she was stabbed in her neck.
She had been on the phone with her parents before the attack and when they got cut off, they went looking for her along the path where they found her in critical condition.
She died of her injuries at the hospital.

Mohassib briefly served with the NYPD before he left for the Marines, where he was deemed unfit for service, the Post reported.
The 27-year-old was most recently working as a public school aide.
The New York City Department of Education told FOX 5 that Mohassib has been suspended and will be fired depending on a conviction.
“We are supporting the NYPD in their investigation however is needed,” the department said.
Police have not released a motive or said if Mohassib had any relationship to Suarez.
