Week 8 saved one of its best for last. The Bears take the NFL’s top cover record to Seattle to face the defending Super Bowl champions on Monday Night Football, in a game that could look a lot like an NFC playoff matchup in January. Fanatics Sportsbook is offering new users promo code FOXNEWS350 to bet $20 and get $350 in FanCash on Seahawks vs. Bears.
5-2: Chicago’s record straight up and against the spread. No team in the league has covered more often, and the Bears have done it on the road too, going 2-1 ATS away from home.
1-1-2: Seattle’s ATS mark at Lumen Field. The defending champs haven’t turned their home field into the edge it usually is, and they’re 2-3-2 ATS overall.
3 of 7: Bears games that have gone over the total. Chicago has mostly played tight, controlled games, which fits what Seattle wants to do on Monday night.
Mike Macdonald’s best path is a low-scoring game where his defense dictates terms and Sam Darnold doesn’t have to carry the offense. Chicago wants the opposite. Caleb Williams has been efficient and dangerous on the move, and the Bears are riding a two-game win streak after beating New England 30-24.
The injury to watch is in Chicago’s backfield. Kyle Monangai missed practice with thumb and toe injuries, and a thinner run game would put even more on Williams in a hostile building.
