Let me start off by saying that I’d never want to discourage anyone from following their heart. There are plenty of success stories out there from people who weren’t led astray.
This is not one of those stories. Warning signs surrounded this businessman’s decision to pursue a relationship with a waitress he encountered while she was on the job. Chief among those signs was the fact that he was already in a relationship with someone else.
Another contributing factor to the downfall of this short romantic relationship with the waitress is that she didn’t know about his girlfriend.

When 19-year-old Nathalie Rodriguez Gonzalez found out that she was the side chick, she allegedly sent threatening text messages demanding thousands of dollars from him, reports Local 10.
According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, she sent threatening text messages to the man demanding that he pay up to the tune of $20,000. If he didn’t send it, another $5,000 would be added, and she would send intimate pictures to his girlfriend and his business partner.
Deputies allege that she also said that she would post the images on all of her social media accounts. This started after Rodriguez Gonzalez learned that he had a girlfriend during the “entire time they were together.”

When he refused to pay, she reportedly sent one of the intimate pictures to his business partner. From there she is said to have sent it to the man’s girlfriend along with this message, “This will genuinely get posted if he doesn’t wire me money BTW.”
The heartbroken waitress, according to deputies, did post a censored version of the image on her TikTok as well as others. There were allegedly more threats made too.
Threats like, “The deportation does not have to happen, but I want my money,” and “If he doesn’t wire me the money, his d*** will get posted followed by your face, his face.”
Rodriguez Gonzalez was arrested on Friday on charges of threats and extortion. According to deputies, she gave a “full confession.”
Again, this shouldn’t discourage people from following their hearts. Instead, it should serve as a reminder that sometimes your heart can lead you into choppy romantic waters. Be careful out there.
